Weathering Winter

Here in sunny Southern California, we admit that it never gets unbearably cold. However, we’re no stranger to rainy days and even visits to snow. In any event, we understand when layers to look cute quickly become layers as a necessity to stay warm. Either way, we still want to look good in the easiest way possible, and we want to share some tips and tricks on how you can make that happen with as little effort as possible.

Layer like it’s your job - try turtlenecks under sweaters under cardigans or coats
Bring out the scarves - perfect accessory that’s also practical. Really any way you decide to wrap this accessory is sure to work. We like them as pops of color to top off any outfit.
Texture it up - faux fur fluff adds that uber warmth you need when your bones are chilled. Use as a statement piece for nonstop compliments.
Be bold with boots - boots can really make your style. We love over-the-knee boots paired with skinny jeans and a sweater or even a cute winter dress. Ankle booties are a classic with cuffed jeans. Whichever way, make sure to invest in classic staples that can work each year.
Go for a classic coat - nothing is more chic than a timeless coat. Whether you go for black, gray, or taupe, your coat is clutch. We opt for longer, knee-length coats that you can layer under. It’ll be the first sight anyone sees and an easy way to make a fabulously, effortlessly, chic first impression.
